Hi, Christian from CertSmart Pathways here.
Finished one of our courses? Awesome — now let’s make sure it actually helps you get noticed. Most school leavers think “I’ve got no experience, so my CV is empty”.
Wrong. A micro-credential fills that gap and shows employers you’re already taking action. Here’s exactly how to add it (copy-paste ready):
Where to put it on your CV
Under a section called “Professional Development”, “Skills & Certifications” or “Short Courses” (near the top if you have no work history)
Example layout:
Professional Development CertSmart Pathways – Barista Basics & Coffee Culture Completed [Month Year] • Learned espresso machine operation, latte art, and food hygiene standards • Passed module quizzes (70% required) to earn official certificate • Ready to contribute to a cafe team from day one.
Digital badge tip Upload the badge PNG to LinkedIn under “Licenses & Certifications”. Add a short description: "Completed practical barista training through CertSmart Pathways – focused on real cafe skills."
Quick checklist before sending your CV
Spell-check everything
Use action words: “Learned”, “Completed”, “Demonstrated”
Keep it one page
Save as PDF named: FirstName-LastName-CV-2026.pdf
That’s it. One course = one solid line that turns “no experience” into “shows initiative”.
Which course are you planning to add first? Let me know in the comments — I’ll help you word it perfectly.
