Our Story

Inspired By Students Created By Teachers

CertSmart Pathways was built to close a gap that too many young Australians fall through. Too many school leavers arrive at the edge of the workforce motivated, capable, and completely invisible on paper.

No credentials. No proof of what they know. No clear next step. That experience — of being ready but unable to show it — is what CertSmart was designed to solve.

CertSmart Pathways is a brand of Assisted Intelligence Training Systems (AITS) — an Australian education group focused on building practical, accessible learning solutions for the next generation of workers.

Alongside CertSmart Pathways, AITS operates PedagogyPro, supporting educators and teaching professionals, and LearnOS, a learning platform designed specifically for parents and students navigating education pathways. Together, the three brands share a single commitment: that learning should lead somewhere real.

Our Approach

Every CertSmart course is built on a rigorous curriculum framework, developed by qualified Australian educators and industry professionals, and quality-reviewed to vocational training standards.

Every workbook is written to the standard of a real qualification. Every badge is issued through Sertifier and designed in accordance with Australia's National Microcredentials Framework — verifiable by any employer in seconds.

Our courses span 40 industry categories and 120 microcredential pathways, covering everything from hospitality and trades to digital skills, business administration, and health. The first course in every category is free — because the first step should never have a price tag on it.

Our Background

The team behind CertSmart Pathways brings together experience across Australian secondary education, vocational training, and curriculum development.

Our founding experience includes more than a decade in Australian high schools and extensive work building and accrediting vocational training programmes across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Italy.

That background gave us a deep understanding of what makes a credential genuinely valuable to employers — not just on paper, but in practice.

Recognition

In March 2026, CertSmart Pathways engaged directly with the Australian Government Department of Education's Microcredentials Pilot team. In response, the Department acknowledged the work that CertSmart Pathways is doing to support young Australians.

We continue to design all courses in accordance with Australia's National Microcredentials Framework and issue verified digital badges through Sertifier for transparency and global portability.

Our Purpose

CertSmart exists for the student who just needs a place to start. The one who is ready — but hasn't yet had the chance to prove it.
