Trauma-informed practice is not a specific program. It is a way of seeing. Across 3 modules, you will explore what trauma is and how it manifests in behaviour, the core principles of trauma-informed practice across different service settings, and practical emotional regulation strategies for both the people you support and yourself as a practitioner. This course is designed for support workers, youth workers, teachers, educators, nurses, community service workers, and anyone whose role involves working with people who have experienced adversity.
